Great results from Echo this morning!

Playing with kids at a birthday party.
Along with the other "special needs" listed on Josephine's file was a congenital heart defect.  It appeared it was listed because the doctors in China saw a hole in her heart at a young age.  Today, she had an echo to look at the structure of her heart, and it looks perfect now!

She had to have this test before the anesthesiologist would put her to sleep next week for her MRI to look at the brain damage.

Wednesday we have an appointment with Dr. McCluskey, our orthopoedic.  Next Wednesday is the MRI.

We are almost finished with all the doctor appointments!  And so far, everyone thinks she is doing great!

Yeah!!! Congratulation! Dr. McCluskey took off John's cast last week. When I asked him if he thought if "all" of John's breaks had anything to do with baby home malnutrition, he said No. He mentioned that he had just seen a little girl from China, I asked if was Josephine but he said no. But now he will be! Good luck on it all! We need to see you guys soon! Love, Nancy

Yes, I've grown to love Dr. McCluskey. Took some time to get to know him, but he has a big heart, and is very good at what he does. He reviewed a file for me for the little girl in India that wasn't meant to be my child:) Since Josephine's issues weren't orthopedic, I didn't ask him to review her file....so he didn't know Madalyn has a new sister until today! He was very sweet with Josephine this morning. Sure hope John is done breaking things for awhile! Casts are no fun for anyone!!

School is out in 2 weeks, and hopefully your pool is warming up for us (hint hint:))
